Ann Deck launches MSI Boston Independent Sales Office; to build sales team for national transactional company

BOSTON, MA, ISSUED NOVEMBER 16, 2009…Ann Deck of Waltham has partnered with MSI to launch the new sales division of MSI-Merchants Services Boston, a leading, national transactional company that is headquartered in New Providence, NJ.

In this role, she will recruit and train Independent Sales representatives for the growing team that is providing a wide range of transactional services for businesses. MSI has strong relationships with all the major card networks including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express and provides service for more than 100,000 merchant locations.

 MSI also has its own BIN relationship with First National Bank of Omaha, giving MSI the flexibility to approve more accounts quickly. The company has expanded its services to include such programs as Check Guarantee, Gift & Loyalty Cards, and a private Gateway. MSI also helps merchants with credit/debit, QuickBooks, ecommerce, and shopping cart capabilities. Check programs include check scanning, eliminating the need to physically go to a bank; a check guarantee program; a check verification program and also a check recovery option.

Current goals for the Boston location include recruiting and placing up to 400 sales representatives over the next five years, as well as opening 20 additional sales offices.

The Ohio native and Waltham, MA resident is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Toledo,  whose business experience includes launching two national sales forces prior to joining MSI. Her work in the pharmaceutical industry included hiring and managing a sales force of 800.  In addition to heading the Boston Independent Sales Office, she is the co-founder of Trade Center Networking, a business-to-business networking group that meets in Woburn.
